3.0mm yellow ABS filament
ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a filament made of mineral oil. It is one of the most commonly used materials for 3D printing.
Advantages of ABS:
ABS is excellent for use outdoors. It is not affected by rain or warm/cold weather.
ABS bends instead of breaks when big forces are applied.
ABS can withstand higher temperatures than for example PLA. ABS weakens around 90 °C, PLA around 55 °C.
Disadvantages of ABS:
ABS is made of mineral oil and therefore not suited for use with food.
ABS spreads a nasty odor during printing. It is not recommended to print ABS in your living room.
ABS prints need to cool down slowly. Shielding your printer from airflow is recommended.
ABS requires a heated bed for printing.
The Repraper filament is a good quality filament and is known for it's vivid colors.
